It takes courage for a woman to make the momentous decision to have children or not in an uncertain fractious world. This woman’s existential sense of self is challenged and overwhelmed by her new reality as she washes her baby, feeling isolated, disconnected, judged by society, advised by an AI Bot. Shrinking walls enclose her, the TV looks to the past, the door slightly ajar, an ambiguous portal. The baby in the tub is determined, and resolute. Reds, maroons, and pinks symbolize blood, life and courage.
