Twenty Five Moments:Reimagining Twenty-Five years of Art is a group exhibition showcasing the work of 32 artists who have shown at the gallery since it opened in 2000. Apollo Bay Weatherboard (painting by my partner Peter O’Doherty) and Blacktown Laundry and Toilet (mixed media construction) were first exhibited at the gallery in 2014 as part of ‘Moving House’ – a travelling exhibition to regional galleries in NSW and Queensland from 2014 – 2017. Peter painted the exteriors of houses while I made wall constructions depicting interiors rooms.
